Our Certified Registered Dietitians are food and nutrition experts that will work closely on patient’s individual nutrition plan according to his/her particular case and in close cooperation with his/her doctor and health professionals. A registered dietitian will closely study patient’s health history, allergies, favorite foods, exercising and eating habits and after that develop a modified diet. A nutrition specialist will also educate the patient and family on good nutritional habits.
Patients who are unable to consume food normally receive specialized care and are provided a set of specific artificial nutritional needs from their dietitians.
Our registered dietitians will help patients set goals and see priorities. The follow up visits will be centered on maintenance and supervision. The results of the medical nutritional intervention are closely monitored and discussed with the entire home health care team and the patient’s physician and changes are applied if necessary.
